NASCAR Bring ‘Troops to the Track” Program to the Bank of America 500:

The Armed Forces Foundation and NASCAR continue the 2013 Troops to the Track program on Saturday, October 12th by bringing service members from the 440th Airlift Wing and the 43rd Airlift Group based out of Fort Braggs Pope Army Airfield to the Bank of America 500. These two units train and deploy Combat Airlifters in support of Joint Special Operations, Army, and Air Force combatant commanders worldwide. 2013 season of Troops to the Track, a program in which service members are treated to a daylong interactive at-track experience, which includes: a special invitation and recognition at the drivers pre-race meeting, a private tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage, pit road access during driver introductions / National Anthem and special seating in the grandstands.
